Dude. Duuuuuuuuude.

I was taking some pictures last night of The Runt's odd habit of staring upward at ... nothing. He just looks up into the ether, like there's a TV up there or something. This morning I was flipping through the pictures I took last night, and, well ...

So, there's The Runt, staring at a corner of the kitchen ceiling. Yeah, I know, I don't get it either. He'd hopped up onto the counter to get a closer look at ... whatever he was looking at. Now, look into the window. Directly above The Runt's right ear, you'll see the reflection of my hands holding the camera. Got it? Now, look to the right of that.

Hmmmm. Obviously, an alien ghost with glowing eyes was standing at my shoulder when I took that pic.

Great. Now I'll never sleep again.

If that was the case, The Runt would have been staring over your shoulder, I would think. It is kind of creepy though! It almost looks like headlights, but I still say your place has some paranormal stuff going on. Not to scare you any more that you already are, but you already won't be sleeping ever again, so I figured I was ok to say that. (cough) Sorry.

and BTW, there is some thing strange with your near-death posting yesterday. The red e-blogger symbol is missing next to it and when I click on the title in the box that shows all of the recent postings from the blogs I follow, it won't pull up the posting but takes me to some weird internet page. And in just looking at your postings for Feb., it doesn't show it in the list. I must know what happened to you!!!!!!!!!

Ooooh, creepy ! They say cats sense things that we cannot see... I had couple of those occasions with my ex-kitten where we'd be watching TV or something, and he'd suddenly perk up and stare at a certain spot in the room..then look back at me, then look to that spot again, and the hair on his back would stand up -- I was on goosebumps and wondering if my dead mother was visiting :)

Maybe it's just Rocky visiting y'all and The Runt is all excited about it :-D

Those glowing eyes were the first thing I noticed in the window - ack!

When I lived in a basement of an old house right after college, my cat stared at an old drain in the floor for hours.

I think it looks like another cat--was there some kind of perch outside the window that a cat could be sitting on? Of course, that doesn't explain why The Runt would be looking at the ceiling and not out the window. Hm..

My girl kitty does the staring thing all the time. She plays this little game where as soon as you look where she's looking and then back at her, she looks at you like, "Gotcha! There's nothing there, crazy human."

BNG, DO NOT say that there is paranormal shit going on at my house. I don't want to have to move.

Zella, I LOVE the idea that Rocky came to visit. Too cool.

And Pickles, I wonder what was in that drain ...

Oh, and actually, Kate, if I had turned around, I would have been facing the living room window, which faces the street. I'm pretty sure it was car headlights reflected in the kitchen window.

That's what I'm going for, anyway. Because it BEATS THE ALTERNATIVE of alien ghost.

Everyone knows cats were put on this planet for one reason -- to fuck with humans.

Then they will take over.

Ha! If only they had opposable thumbs, they'd ALREADY be our overlords.
