Did I listen to myself on the radio this afternoon? YOU BET YOUR A** I DID.
And supposedly the radio station is going to post it on their website, and if so, I'll link to it here. Just so you can laugh at my nasally voice. Hey, I'm a giver like that.
Bottom line? I hope our rescue group gets some much-needed help from this. That's what matters.
So! While I was waiting to BE FAMOUS, I went to the fifty-percent-off sale at the Thrify Shopper.
And after the Thrifty Shopper, I figured I was on a roll, so I hit up the Label Shopper and picked up this little retro denim number, NEW WITH TAGS, for ... drumroll please ... $4.99. Ha!
Grand total? For BOTH STORES? $28.17.
Damn, I'm good.

You know what the best part is? Getting to put together new outfits with the new stuff.
I mean, I'm not really into fashion, but it is fun to have new (to me) things to wear.

I didn't try on anything at the store, because there was a huge wait for the dressing rooms, and thrift store dressing rooms equal eww anyway, but when I got all my loot home (and washed it first, because, thrift store, HELLO)? Everything fit. EVERYTHING. The size 10 skirt? Fit. The size 6 skirt? Fit. The XS denim outfit? Yep. It fit. (Oh my, QVC, you do like to flatter women's egos, doncha?) (Yes, the denim outfit was QVC. SHUT IT. It's cute.)
I guess I'm getting good at eyeballing sizes.
