Oh, Little Girl ...

'
...what's that on your chin?

"Oh ... nothing," she says.

LITTLE GIRL!

Don't worry; no birds were harmed in the making of this post. Little Girl caught a cardinal and brought it in to the garage, where it caromed around for a bit before I discovered what was going on and opened the overhead door so it could fly away.

And no, that's not dirt on her nose, it's just spreckles.

Nice! Cats are so subtle, aren't they? I like when mine come inside and have a 4-inch blade of grass protruding from the mouth.

HAHHAHA. Fantastic! Our orange cat has those spreckles, too. She also has them on her gums, which meant we called our vet in a panic the day we got her, convinced she had mouth tumors. Doh.

Kate, I don't usually find the grass until they've puked it up onto the carpet.

And Pickles, yeah, when Little Girl first sprouted the spreckles, I was all, oh no, CANCER! D'oh.
