I was born in 1962; you do the math. (See also: I'm too lazy to remember to update this thing regularly.) I bought my first house in the summer of 2009; I share it with four cats and with the memories of The Runt and Little Girl, who both passed away in 2011. Rocky, the cat for whom this blog was named, passed away in 2008; I miss them all. I wish I lived somewhere where the winters weren't eight months long; other than that, life is good.
Awfully sweet pictures, but I'll never understand how you get them to wear hats.
Another photo that MIGHT qualify for the holiday line-up: One of your kitties (Soda?) was stalking a Christmas goose for you....ever closer and closer.....then realized suddenly that he should rush back home to remind you to get the goose-sized roasting pan ready. Maybe that wasn't even near Christmas. Doesn't matter. Classic.
Would have commented earlier, but was busy helping a neighbor untangle his cats' festive harnesses ahead of their big holiday sled race meet. You never saw such a tangle! Took forever.
Hope your Christmas was wonderful and full of good food!
I got your Christmas card - thank you! It's up on the mantel, making my house all festive! Perhaps one year I will be organized enough to get cards out myself!
Ginny, next time, put the mouse team AHEAD of the cat team. Sheesh. :)
Becs, YES! That PBS special is what got me turned on to the whole "living in Alaska" (as long as I don't have to do it myself) thing in the first place.
and spiff, I'm glad you liked the card! How was Hawaii?!
