Sardines

Because I am evidently illiterate, I discovered this weekend that I had not been feeding Rocky anchovies. Instead, I had bought him a can (tin?) of sardines. It even says so right on the box, "SARDINES".

Which begs two questions:

1. Just exactly how stupid am I?

2. If sardines are not the little end-to-end fish, what are? Anchovies?

I am an idiot. And also sorely in need of some remedial reading lessons.
