And It's Not Even Officially "Winter" Yet ......

It started snowing about a half an hour ago. We are supposed to get 6 to 10 inches today, followed by a Nor'easter* this weekend, followed by temps in the single digits next week.

Does anyone have some sunshine they could spare?

*I really hate that word, "Nor'easter". It's just so .... corny. With that little apostrophe in the middle and all. So .... Yankee. Oh! And has anybody read "Yankee" magazine lately? It used to be this really cute little magazine full of all kinds of quirky articles. And now ... it's like a miniaturized "Town and Country". With splashy layouts of kabillion dollar "cottages". Bleccch.

I have a cool gif on my blog about this.
We should have a drink at the VI.

I'm gonna need to buy boots.

That is a very cool map. And yes, boots are probably in order. Tall boots.

Oh, and let me know about the VI.

When does winter officially start?

And we have no sunshine... just drizzle, rain, cloud, wind. Not much snow yet, though.

Lucky you! Maybe you'll have a "snow day" from work ;)

I'm kinda jealous... all we have gotten so far here is ice.

Fightagainstredtape, according to my office calendar, the first day of winter is December 22. Oh, and Jennifer, I did get to leave two hours early, but it took me three times as long as usual to get home!
