Am I Crazy?

No, seriously, I need to know. Here's the situation:

I have become aware of a job opening at a local organization. If I apply for this job, I am fairly certain that I will get it. And it pays approximately 30% more than my current job.

But I really like my current job. Yes, some of the people I work with are annoying, but overall, I really enjoy my job. So I don't think I am going to apply for the other position.

Am I nuts?

No, I don't think you're crazy. If you really enjoy your present job and you're happy enough with the salary you receive - WHY would you want to move?

Money's not everything, is it??

On the other hand, an immediate 30% pay rise is rather a lot and you might like that job just as much as your present one!

So, in short. Don't know.

If you're ready to climb another ring of the corporate ladder and you think the new job will benefit you not only financially, but intellectually, then go for it. Change is constant. Otherwise, leave well enough alone. IMO

Thanks for the advice, guys. I am not afraid of change, but I'm glad to know it's ok to stay where I am.
