How To Make a Painting

Step One: Take an old, laughingly bad painting that you can't quite bear to toss:

Cover it up:

Turn the canvas sideways and paint some sky:

Add a sunrise, and some land, and some reflections:

Throw in some more clouds, and blend stuff together:

Voila!  It's a painting.  Now go clean the brushes.

How exactly do you know how to do this??? It's great, but maybe lacking your feet and kayak bow at the bottom.

P.S. I'm scanning the background of your photos for kitties and comin' up empty. Naptime elsewhere maybe?

Cool! Did you plant any happy little shrubs in the painting while you were at it?

Ginny, Bob Ross is my painting guru. This was actually the first painting I've attempted without a Bob Ross tutorial guiding me. :)

and the cats were under the table. Wrassling. As they do.

Becs, it was the happy little freaking shrubs that were the downfall of the painting I painted over. :)
