Damn, damn, damn. I'm sorry.
I know she's just been started on the meds, but is she feeling any perkier today? When are they going to recheck her?
I wish I could just get on a plane and be there. I'm at a complete loss for words.
She goes back to her local vet in a week. The cardiologist said it will take a few days to a few weeks for the meds to kick in. She will have to re-check with the cardiologist every six months.
But, it's not like she's just lying on the couch - she was out chasing birds in the backyard yesterday, so not all is woe.
And as it turns out, other than the diagnostic costs (which were stratospheric), the costs of the meds themselves are not that outrageous.
Thanks, everybody, for thinking of us - it is appreciated.
:(
Damn.
