The summer semester of Foster Camp is now in session!

Meet Rosalita:

Rosa was a little skittish at first, but with some food and attention, she's started to come around:

I can't even imagine how hard it must be on these poor rescue cats; first they're dumped on the streets to fend for themselves, and then (if they're lucky), they're taken to a shelter where it's noisy and unfamiliar, and THEN they're transported to a foster home, where everything is new AGAIN.

But Rosa is a sweet girl.  Rumor is she's with child, er, kittens, but as with human mamas, I've learned it's wisest not to make any comment until you know for SURE, i.e., until the baby comes out, so we'll just have to wait and see.

In the meantime, make yourself at home, Rosalita!

She's a good girl. She'll make a fine mamacat.
