The daughter of the family who adopted Mama Lightning, Little Bit and Tippy has been kind enough to be posting updates on facebook. They're settling in well! Take a look:
Even kittens who have been weaned will still nurse for comfort on occasion. And it goes both ways; I'm told that while Mama will sometimes growl at them when they try to nurse, she will also sometimes go lie down next to them, allowing easy access.
They look pretty comfy to me.

It looks like those wacky stuntster kittens are next to the dad's bed, judging by the home care equipment in the background. He doesn't even NEED a TV now!

Ginny, yep, dad is a cat lover, and sometimes the cats hop right up on his bed to visit. So sweet!
