I had to pick up some traps at a house out in the sticks today, so I thought I'd swing by a nearby cemetery.
There are some famous residents here:
And some not-so-famous. I don't know why I can walk through a human cemetery with no problem, but a pet cemetery makes me teary every time.
Anybody know what Psalm 23:6 is?
*sob* Excuse me while I go hug my cats.
Ps 23:6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.

What group are you working with? - I'd like to send a check your way.
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas!
Kris
Thanks, Portia. *sob* :)
ReplyDeleteHey Kris - I'm currently volunteering for Every Dog's Dream. You can donate at the website - https://www.everydogsdream.org/ - or just send a check to me and I'll drop it off. As always with every group I work with, every penny goes toward the animals, and every penny is appreciated.(And my Christmas cards will be going out soon, I promise!)
Great - thanks!

You are not alone in feeling sadder about the animals. I think it is more heart-wrenching because the animals have less control over what happens to them than humans, and they cannot understand. I certainly feel the same as you.
