I am trying to picture getting one of my cats to (a) hold still long enough for me to coat one of its paws with paint, (b) hold still long enough to let me pat its paw onto a canvas, repeatedly, and (c) hold still long enough for me to wash the paint off its paw.
The bright red spatters in the paintings would be my blood.
