Back to the library tomorrow to get the next installment of Tracy Chevalier.listiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03531432035830658570noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33288643.post-43973333150153843582008-03-24T08:22:00.000-04:002008-03-24T08:22:00.000-04:00All I've read by Ivan Doig so far is The Whistling...All I've read by Ivan Doig so far is The Whistling Season and This House of Sky, so it looks like I'll be giving more of his stuff a try!rockygracehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14457010488015617811noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33288643.post-83304745347695310572008-03-22T14:43:00.000-04:002008-03-22T14:43:00.000-04:00Yes. The first thirty pages of "Rowdy in Paris" by Tim Sandlin were excellent, but it wound up as a big shaggy dog story. I guess one shouldn't complain when a cowboy story takes a dogleg into bullshit (the nature of the beast, in a sense), but I get so little time to read fiction that I get aggravated when it isn't good.Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00745260466541309506noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33288643.post-91043757778195367752008-03-21T13:02:00.000-04:002008-03-21T13:02:00.000-04:00I read "Nineteen Minutes" by her and enoyed it - m...I read "Nineteen Minutes" by her and enoyed it - maybe I should give something else of hers a try.
